What makes KL so KL?

Good day my dear readers, in today’s lesson we will take a closer look at a very interesting words, perhaps one of the most attractive words in the Malaysian language today, it’s “Kuala” and “Lumpur”.

Basically, peoples here come from all sort of background. Kedahian, Kelantanese, Penang etc, surviving and having fun together. I’ve seen two guys in Pudu speaking each other in two different “loghat”, one’s Terengganu while the other Kedah, talking fast like they are understand each other, in fact none of them understand. I laughed! Peoples here also speak english but in their own way (rojak), which is hard for me to understand, yet I’m still glad at least they try even there are many grammatical mistakes (like me huh?).hohoh! Can I call it KLinglish?

Peoples here are workaholic. They work really hard all day long on a fast pace life. If you go and take a walk during a day, you’ll be surprise to see how fast they walk comparing to people in other place. Yet they still have time for charity, party, checking out gigs, watching movies or stay up late regularly, despite the hardwork on a long hours. Most of them keep their good time to have fun on the night.

Sometimes, unexpected things happen here. I’ve experienced it myself :

Situation 1 :

Jalan P.Ramlee, I was lepaking with friends on the roadside when I saw a topless guy running without shoes, bottle in hand, scream like hell. He was extremely drunk! It was terrible. This actually happen and I still have trouble believing it.lol!

Situation 2 :

Putra Dang Wangi Station, I was queing for train, when the train doors open peoples suddenly rush in for seats without even giving a damn about other peoples. I felt very angry that time. It’s just so bloody rude man!

Yeah, this is Kuala Lumpur. You’ll never know what to expect. Sometimes its painful, sometimes its wonderful, most of the time its both. Yet, I still love the city, and bet you gonna love it too. There is so much to do here. The people, the fashion, the nightlife and so much more. Simply just explore, you’ll be fascinated by it.
